The Credit Repair Lawyers of America are making news again. After concluding its litigation with debt buyer LVNV asked the Court to sanction both CRLA and its client Venita Dukes for engaging in bad faith litigation. The Court held that there was no evidence that the consumer had done anything to warrant the sanctions, but that the CRLA had used the opportunity of the litigation to engage in unnecessary litigation.
